Current Compensation :
Base : 19.2 LPA
Bonus : 10% variable pay
Stocks : approx 1L per quarter
Total : Around 25 LPA

Offered Compensation :
Base : 40 LPA
Joining Bonus : 16.2 L
Retention Bonus : 13 L
Relocation Bonus : 1.5 L
RSUs : 199 units (5% + 15% + 20% + 20%) ~ 37.6 L (approx. 210$ / 90₹)

Total first year comp : 59.5L

The HR was great and assured me that she is trying her best for the compensation. It was already more than genuine so I didn't negotiate much.

But I see other posts with base around 42-45LPA, joining bonus around 20-22L and retention bonus around 18-20L.

I am more than happy with the current compensation. I assume this was the max which they could do keeping in mind my previous compensation and my YOE.

Just wanted to confirm with the community, was there any chance of negotiation? I didn't have any other offer.
