Hi everyone,

I recently completed all my interview rounds for the Application Engineer role at Google. It has been long since my final round, and I haven't received any concrete feedback yet. I'm getting a bit anxious and wanted to ask if this timeline is normal or if anyone has had a similar experience recently.

Here is a breakdown of how I think the rounds went:

Round 1 (DSA): Not my best round. I'm estimating a No Hire / Lean Hire.

Round 2 (DSA): Went very well. Estimating a Hire / Strong Hire.

Round 3 (System Design): Received positive feedback during the interview, but I'm unsure of the final grade.

Round 4 (Googlyness/Behavioral): Went great. Estimating a Hire / Strong Hire.

Round 5 (System Integration): Ran out of time, but I managed to answer all the questions and completed assigned task. I am unsure about this one.

My Questions:

Has anyone else interviewing for the ASE role?

Given the "No Hire/Lean Hire" in the first round, do I still have a chance if the other rounds were solid?

Should I reach out to the recruiter again or just keep waiting?

Any insights or similar experiences would be really helpful! Thanks.
