The recruiter reached out to me and did a phone screening round.

OA - I don't exactly remember the questions but they were medium level problems. Mostly string and binary search.

Round 1 - Good DSA round

• One Trie question where I had to implement a google like recommendation system. I had to store the searched data from the user and auto complete recommendations on the basis of that. The catch was that it was ot simple words but we had to recommned entire URL.

• You are navigating a desert represented as a directed graph. Each node is an oasis, each edge is a path with base difficulty w. You are tired. If you have already taken k steps, that is k nodes have been teavelled till current oasis. Then taking an outgoing edge of weight w will cost w + k. Find minimum cost to travel from S to T.

Overall, this round was quite straightforward.

Round 2 - This round was again DSA but I was expecting LLD or HLD

• I was given an array and a target. I had to return the number of unique pairs i, j such that nums(i) + nums(j) == target and i < j. Duplicated were not allowed. Pairs should be unique by value and index.

• Given an array. Return the Longest Harmonious Sequence.

The round went pretty well.

After this I tried calling the recruiter multiple times but she kept on ghosting me. After a week, she called me and told that the position has been filled already.
