Eightfold visited my college for hiring the Agentic AI – Engineering Intern role for the 2026 batch.

  • Role: Agentic AI – Engineering Intern
  • Eligibility: 8.5+ CGPA, no backlogs
  • Compensation: ₹1,50,000 per month (stipend)
  • Job Location: Bangalore / Noida

Here is my full end-to-end experience.

1. Application (4 Nov 2025)

I applied for the Agentic AI – Engineering Intern role on 4 Nov 2025 and received an acknowledgment email confirming that my application was under review.

2. AI Coding Interview (12 Nov 2025)

I received an invite for an AI-conducted coding interview that had to be taken before 13 Nov 2025.

Format:

  • Total Duration: ~60 minutes
  • 2 coding questions
  • Conducted by Eightfold’s AI agent (Nikhil)
  • No option to run or submit the code
  • You simply write the final solution directly in the editor

Unique part:

  • The AI agent asked follow-up questions:
    • Handling edge cases
    • Alternative approaches
    • Time/space complexity
    • Why I chose a specific data structure

So it was more of an interactive conversational coding assessment.

3. Assignment Round (21 Nov 2025)

On 21 Nov, I was shortlisted for the next round and received 2 assignments (choose any 1).

Task: Build an AI agent showcasing:

  • Natural interaction
  • Agentic behavior
  • Clear reasoning steps
  • Good technical decision-making

Deadline: 24 Nov 2025, 2 PM

4. Technical Interview (8 Dec 2025)

I was invited for the first technical interview on 8 Dec.

Panel (2 Interviewers):

  • 1 Engineering Manager
  • 1 Software Development Engineer (SDE)

Interview Structure:

  • Purely DSA-focused
  • I was given multiple coding questions

My performance:

  • Solved 2 DSA questions with follow-ups from the SDE
  • Got a third DSA question from the Manager
    • I was able to think through and present a correct approach,
    • But due to time constraints, I couldn’t fully code the solution before time ran out

Overall, it was a heavy problem-solving round.

5. Result

Result: Pending
If I clear this round, the final HR interview will be scheduled next.
