Applied randomly on their page. All interviews in under 2 weeks.
- R1 - 1hr - Random technical questions + one medium DSA question on hashmaps, optimised with ordered dict. Didn't ask for heap solution.
Self Verdict - Hire, nice interactive interviewers (panel had 2 people, 1 SSE + 1 EM).
- R2 - 1hr (b2b on the same day) - Random technical questions + implement thread pool & one more DSA question (time wasn't there, so approach only)
Self Verdict - Lean, maybe hire, interactive interviewer (SDE 2 i think, don't remember). I messed up on the implementation a bit here.
- R3 - 1hr - HLD of a file processor (concepts like OCR, chunking, storing, memory tradeoffs, etc)
Self Verdict - Strong Hire, very good senior engineer interviewer
- R4 (AA) - 1hr - Model/design bank teller to a system. And one behavioural question.
Self Verdict - iffy, mostly reject, interviewer was a senior manager, was definitely sleepy (there was a 12h diff in TZ) and didn't seem to be interested. Joined late, was interjecting/repeating on design things.
Didn't like the answer I gave on the behavioural, in hindsight I answered in the format of "i am applying learnings in a changing environment" instead of "applied and tested this works" format.
Overall I'm not sure if AA round can kick you straight outta the door, but meh, hello darkness my old friend. Shit luck to get such interviewers.
