I recently appeared for Round 1 (Code Pair Round) for the MTS-1 (Data Platform Team) role at Nutanix.

In this round, I was asked two graph-based coding problems, both of which I was able to solve completely within the given time. After that, the interviewer asked a few resume-based questions, and the discussion went smoothly. He seemed happy with my approach and solutions.

It’s been just a day since the first round, so I haven’t heard back from HR yet. Meanwhile, I want to start preparing for the next round in advance.

If anyone who has appeared for the MTS-1 interviews at Nutanix could share some insights on:

What topics to focus on for Round 2 (e.g., debugging, system design, OS, networking, etc.)

Type of questions generally asked in later rounds

Any specific preparation resources or patterns to expect
