Round 1 : Phone screen -

• time given was 45 mins
• solved 1st part
• solved 2nd part with a minor bug, as i ran out of time

was not expecting call because i couldn't solved both, but got positive feedback because my bug can be fix with a minor check.

Round 2 : Programming Excercise -

• time given was 35 mins
• it was a difficult problem harder than phone screen
• i solved part 1 based on heaps
• in 2nd part i almost solved it with a minor bug but ran out of time

Round 3 : Bug Bash -

• 2 bugs were there, solved both in time and interviewer was satisfied

Round 4 : Integration -

• my scheduled time was 11am - 12am, and i was sitting at my desk prepping just before the interview at 10 am i got a call that interviewer is waiting, i said it was scheduled at 11 he said no it was at 10. changed the timing just before the interview
• i entered unprepared and was a bit nervous
• there were total 3 parts, 3rd one had 2 subparts
• solved 1st
• solved 2nd
• for 3rd one i struggled a bit with question but was able to solve 1st subpart, for 2nd i wrote the code but there was a bug in my loop and i couldn't able to figure out as time ran out.

my expectation was, as i solved 3.1 running and for 3.2 wrote the code with 1 bug and explained my approach, i will get yes in integration, yes in bug bash, and a soft yes in programming excercise.

verdict - rejected,

outcome - No, Yes, No
although programming excercise would have turned yes i would have get Yes in other rounds(which i excpected) but last interviewer killed my dream (Guess what, he joined stripe 11 months back from amazon, he worked there for 5 years, ig amzaon has really rubbed off on him)

TBH i accept my programming excercise as soft yes but no in integration is unacceptable.

I was eagerly waiting to join stripe.
