I got a call from a recruiter in mid July regarding an SDE 2 opportunity at Amazon.
Round 1 (Late July) -> High Level Design
An Amazon problem very similar to "K Leaderboard problem".
Leadership Principle questions : Conflict with Manager, Missed a Deadline.
Round 2 (Early September) -> Data Structures and Algorithms
Graph based question which could be solved using simple DFS but needed DSU for optimisation.
Leadership Principles : Customer Obsession, Deliver Results
Round 3 (Mid September) -> Low Level Design
Design Movie Ticket Booking System. Both code and class diagram was expected.
Leadership Principles : Insist on the Highest Standards, Dive Deep
Round 4 , Bar Raiser (Mid September) -> Leadership Principles and a sort of Low Level Design technical exercise.
Leadership Principles : Questions on first 6-7 Leadership Princples.
Technical Exersice : Amazon Locker.
I did not perform well in the Data Structures and Algorithms round, and maybe the Leadership Principles answers in the last round did not meet Amazon's bar.
Overall, a great learning experience.
