So Expedia has 4 rounds in general
Recruiter informed that there is will be no HLD rounds for SDE-2.
First 2 rounds will be done on alternative days. Based on the results next 2 rounds will be scheduled.
Round 1: DSA round - Easy/Medium
Not sure of the exact problems.
One based on Strings another one was on sliding window
Round 2 : DSA round - Medium
- Variation of rod cutting DP problem
- Tree Problem
Feedback was positive, next 2 rounds scheduled.
Round 3: LLD round
Was asked to design a password management system involving create,edit,forgot password using token generation and other password policies.
Tried implementing the code following SOLID principle , used singleton,strategy and observer patterns.
Though interviewer seemed litle unsatisfied.
Round 4 : Managerial/Behavioural Round
Expect the interviewer to grill you based on your resume. Standard scenario based system design/distributed systems questions.
After this, recruiter informed me that LLD round feedback was not positive.
Verdict - Rejected
