Hi all,interviewed for Agoda Full Stack role.
I am currently in FAANGMULA MAANGO ,
OA had 4 questions,no python option, did all 4
Got a great score, was put in "Fast track" mode(utter bs)
Nailed Round1 DSA
Nailed Round2 Frontend Platform
Now comes the torture - Had 2/3 calls with HR prior to Backend Platform Round(Why would you have such calls before the tech rounds are over is beyond me)
Finally the Backend Platform Round starts and I had to look at the current External Booking System API and suggest changes.
Interviewer did not know basic things:
- API Gateway for Load balancing
- API Gateway can verify and issue JWT
- JWT tampered with - will not decode properly and will be rejected
and many other things.
Eventually got a rejection saying I need to work on system design.
Clown Moment Pro max.
I think your engineers need to work on system design first lol.
I have warned you folks-invest time in Agoda interviews with caution.
