I applied via an internal referral shared by a friend.
Got a call from recruiter and then was invited for the Machine Coding Round.
Round 1 – Machine Coding
This was a group round on Google Meet. The problem statement was to build a Google Calendar clone with clear Must-Have and Good-To-Have requirements. We were given 1.5 hours to implement and had to submit our code as a zip via Google Form.
Round 2 – Machine Coding Evaluation
A 30-minute call where I walked the interviewer through my code, explained my approach, discussed what I covered and what I couldn’t.
Got the result in a couple of days and moved to the next round.
Round 3 – Problem Solving & Deep System (PSDS)
Three DSA questions — two related to trees and one to binary search. Overall a good discussion.
Round 4 – UI Tech
This was the most intense round for me — a mix of tricky HTML/CSS/JS output prediction, rendering flow, React, and some deep-dive frontend topics.
Round 5 – Hiring Manager (HM)
This was mostly a discussion around my projects and resume. Quite relaxed compared to the tech rounds. but had some tricky questions too.
It’s been a week since my HM round, but the recruiter hasn’t responded to my calls or messages yet. Getting quite anxious now — not sure if I should wait or move on.
Is anyone else in the same situation? Any tips on how to handle this wait?
