Offered Amazon SDE 2 (L5) @ Hyderabad — Please Help with Compensation Expectations
Hi everyone,
I’ve recently been extended an offer for Amazon SDE 2 (L5) at Hyderabad, and I wanted to give back to the community by sharing my experience. I’d also appreciate your help in understanding how much I should expect or negotiate for, especially considering relocation.
📌 Current Compensation
- Years of Experience (YOE): 6
- Base: ₹42 LPA
- Bonus: ₹8 LPA
- Stocks/RSU: None
- Location: Bangalore
❓ What I'm Looking For
Given the relocation to Hyderabad, what would be a reasonable total compensation to expect or negotiate for an L5 SDE 2 role?

Each round included Leadership Principles (LP) questions.
The Bar Raiser included ~25 minutes of LP deep dive.
