I recently gave amazon interviews. So wanted to share experience here.
OA(asked 2 medium level problems)
Behavorial questions
R1-
Two problems
- celebrity problem(was able to solve in O(n^2)
- possible ways to make an amiunt from given coins array (was able to solve in O(n^2))
Asked 1 LP in last 10 minutes
R2-
Discussed about ownership, previous work for half an hour and was asked to solve gas station problem. Was able to solve with O(n) TC and O(n) SC
Interviewer told in last he was going to ask another problem but time was over so its okay
R3-
(HLD)
Discussed LP for like 25 minutes and then was asked to design notification service. Interviewer was calm and helping. Did not ask much questions don't know was he satisfied or not
R4-
LLD
Discussed LP for like 30-35 minuetes. He grilled so much but I was able to answer perfectly in every situation cases asked by him and then later jumped on Gift card Design. Was able to come up with functional and non functional requirements. I was not much satisfied with my approach and could design half of the problem because time was over
One thing I wanted to ask community that how many days after HR share feedback because I have not received any communication from HR after round scheduling.
Also based on my performance can I expect offer?
