Title: JPMC Code for Good vs. D. E. Shaw Campus Internship — Which to Prioritize?

Background
I’m a 4th-semester CSE student at NIT Raipur, currently ranked among the top 3 in the institute. This summer, both JPMC and D. E. Shaw visited our campus for internship hiring:

• JPMC (Code for Good): I’ve cleared the OA and interview rounds and am now shortlisted for the final hackathon. Historical stipend: ₹0.85–1 LPM; FTE CTC: ₹20–25 LPA.
• D. E. Shaw (Campus Drive): Technical rounds are scheduled soon. Stipend: ₹1.6 LPM; past FTE CTCs: ₹52–58 LPA.

My Dilemma

• JPMC: With dedicated prep, I estimate a 90% chance of securing the internship through the hackathon.
• D. E. Shaw: A more competitive process with an estimated 50% chance (though i am among top 3, but still luck is also a factor), but significantly higher rewards.
  However, as per institute policy, if I receive an offer letter from JPMC post-hackathon, I’ll be ineligible to sit for D. E. Shaw’s campus process.

What Would You Do?

1. Go all-in on JPMC Code for Good (90% chance → ₹0.85–1 LPM + ₹20–25 LPA FTE)?
2. Take a calculated risk and prioritize D. E. Shaw (50% chance → ₹1.6 LPM + strong PPO prospects → ₹52–58 LPA FTE)?

I’m glad to share that I cracked both JPMC and D. E. Shaw and have offer letters from both in hand. On top of that, I also have a Google interview lined up soon. 🙌
