My Present Company has a great WLB and the culture is too good with great seniors and mentors. Only issue is learning was slow/obsolete. Moreover, it is not exaclty a software company but automotive software with tech-stack being C++/Python. There is a possibility that the longer I stay here, the more difficult it may get for me to switch to a core software company.

I shall be grateful if the community could provide insights about the JWO (Just Walk Out) Team in Amazon with respect to WLB, Growth, Team Culture and could raise red-flags.

Also would switching be a wise-choice as I would be promoted to SDE-2 next year in my current organization and that will not be the same if I join Amazon now (SDE-2 promotion will take 2 years in Amazon).
