I interviewed for Network18, Noida location.
Applied through LinkedIn Easy Apply.
After initial resume screening, HR reached out to me for scheduling further rounds.
Total experience - 1 year

Round 1 (OA) :

There were 4 DSA questions, time 1 hour:
2 - easy
1 - medium
1 - hard

Solved 3 completely and in last one passed 7/10 test cases.

Round 2:

After introduction, interviewer started with theory ques:

1- diff btwn let,var,const
2- event loop in js
3- microstack vs macrostack queue
4- mysql vs mongodb
5- Promises ,async/await
6- hooks in reactjs
7- explain usememo, usecallback

After these questions ,interviewer moved to DSA ques:

1- https://leetcode.com/problems/sort-colors/description/
Gave him complete brute(Arrays.sort), better(counting 0s,1s,2s seperately), optimal(using pointers) approaches for this ques and after dry running , coded optimal one on IDE

2-https://leetcode.com/problems/number-of-islands/description/
Solved this using dfs and gave him dry run for 2-3 test cases

Interviewer himself told me that i was shortlisted for next round....On same day after 1 hour , i recieved call from HR for next round

Round 3:

Interviewer was Engineering Manager with over 14 years of experience...

1-Explain your current project/task
2-major challenges you faced in your project
3-what tech stack you are using for this project
4-why not any other tech(e.g- I told him that i was using MongoDb then he asked me why not MySQL)
5-He asked me about my projects and their tech stack mentioned in my resume
6-Java vs C++
7-REST vs GraphQL
8-about AWS,EC2,S3
9-react DOM
10-useState,useEffect,useCallback
11-react reconciliation, diffing algorithm
12-how event loop works
13-JS output questions on setTimeout:

After this he moved to SQL part...
he gave me 2 SQL queries that i had to write on notepad and later paste that code in chatbox....first one was easy one and second one was medium-hard type....
I solved both SQl queries and submitted my code.

At the end interviewer asked me about :
why are you looking for switch?
what are your future aspects?
what new tech are you interested in?

HR Round

(Basic ques were there only as usual )

3 days later HR called me and he told me that i was selected....
He asked me to fill the application form and Current CTC, expected CTC,previous 3 months salary slip, and other related documents required for verification.

Offer letter issue
one week later i approached him and asked when i will get my Offer Letter, he first told me to wait for one week....
After 5-6 days i again asked him and he said that since financial year has started so everyone is busy with other documents work....
I used to ping him every week regarding my Offer letter....but he kept on saying as usual regarding financial year.... Later he told me that he will update me about any information regarding offer letter.

It's been over 45 days since my interview and now there is no chance for offer letter i guess.

Need Guidance from Seniors:

Please tell me how to get more oppurtunities, I have been applying daily on Linkedin, naukri, wellfound, hirist, instahyre....but even after applying everywhere ,i am getting very few calls...and even after calls almost neglegible interviews are scheduled....
