Q1: LC314. Binary Tree Vertical Order Traversal

  • asked for brute force(verbally)
  • dry run
  • time/space complexity

Q2: LC1249. Minimum Remove to Make Valid Parentheses

  • dry run(detailed)
  • time and space

So I got lucky, as my interviewer didn’t add any extra complexity to the problems. Now that I’m moving to the next round, what should I expect in the upcoming DSA rounds? How much harder can the onsite interviews get?

System Design:
Honestly, I’m not very familiar with common system design problems, but I’ll try to cover them all in the next 4–5 days. Would the top 20 problems from HelloInterview be sufficient?

Behavioral:
I’m planning to prepare 2–3 stories for each question in the STAR format. If anyone has suggestions for a good blog, post, or YouTube playlist =especially designed for Meta. I’d really appreciate it.

P.S.
Huge thanks for this Discuss section! Both questions in my phone screen were pretty basic and familiar. Please do share answers/suggestions for the questions I asked above—I have roughly 20 days to prep for the onsite loop and want to give it my best shot.
