Hi all,
Just sharing my interview experience as might be helpful to someone.

I had around 2.8yrs of Experience and I had been working in Amazon as sde FTC for past 7months, in last month of my tenure, i had started giving interviews internally to other teams in Amazon. There were 4 interview rounds taken.

Interview Round 1 | DSA Round

Interview Round 2 | LLD Round

  • Manager can create a task and assign it to users, user can change status of task(completed, not_started, pending)
  • Manager can also view the task he assigned to the users, at same time user can see who assigned the given task.
  • This question is similar to designing Sprint TaskBoard. Apart from implementing sol, Interviewer also asked following things
  • Code i written should be Thread Safety
  • what are entities involved and their relationships
  • Database Schema
  • API's endpoints
  • Apart from this, he also asked some LP Q's. At First , I was unprepared for LLD round, but interviewer helped me, whenever i got stuck. I was able to code it, this interview went over 1.5hrs.

Interview Round 3 | DSA Round

  • I dont remember Question, it was related to bit manipulation. it was kind of LC-medium level, I had struggled initially, Inteviewer was kind person, gave few hints ,after which, i am able to solve the problem.
  • He asked regarding experience at amazon, discussed current project am working on. few LP Q's

Interview Round 4 | Bar Raiser Round

After One Week I got call from recruiter saying i was selected for SDE1 at Amazon. It was dream come true for me. I worked so hard for it.

Salary is same as sde1, Since, I have 2.8 years of experience, I requested a 10-15% increase in the base pay. However, the recruiter mentioned that they could only offer the standard base pay (19lpa) for an SDE1 role. Since I didn’t have any other offers at the time, I accepted the Amazon offer.

I hope you all achieve your dreams one day. I also hope this interview experience helps you in some way. Thanks!
