Coder Pad Interview Experience

I had my Coder Pad interview yesterday. There were two interviewers and only one of them led the conversation. Started with a basic introductions and some questions on latest Java features (lambdas, records) etc. Once that is done, proceeded with two coding questions.

1. Find the smallest number in the sorted rotated array.

   • Although I stumbled intially, solved it later using binary search.
2. Rock collector question

   • Explained the bruteforce approach and then explained the DP approach in detail. Later implemented the solution. Once I explained the approach in detail, there was not a lot of time left. But, the interviewer patiently waited for me to complete and asked me to add some testcases. I did.

Then aksed if I had any questions and answered them.

They moved me to superday.
