Process started from a screening round through a phone call by HR.
I applied through a referral.
Round 1
Online Assessment -> 3 Questions of DSA, all were leetcode medium to hard.
I was able to do 2 questions.
Round 2
Technical Round
It was a F2F round at Myntra Office Bangalore.
Technical Round 1
The interviewer was an SDE 2, so he started it with normal introduction.
Question 1 -> 2 Sum Problm
I was able to solve it so early. So he modified the problem for finding the difference between two numbers equal to diff.
A number was given diff, now find two numbers in the array whose difference is equal to diff.
I started with brute force approach, then I optimized it to the binary search solution.
Question 2
Find the longest consecutive sequence.
This is a leetocde medium problem, so i first told the brute force approach and then I optimized it using set, again I was able to do it so early so he modified the problem.
Now the modified problem was about finding longest fibonacci sequence, you will be given an array and the numbers can form the fibonacci series not neccessarily starting from 0. I gave him the optimized approach to him, I used the earlier question as reference.
I found the solution later on leetcode when I searched it.
Round 3
Technical Round
Again the round started with general introduction, so the interviewer told about himself and the team he is working with. Then I gave my intro.
Question 1
Peak element in an array -> Leetcode Medium
Question 2
Target Sum Problem -> Leetcode Medium
Completed the questions in 35 mins, so he asked me another question of SQL.
Still time was left, so we started the discussion on Resilinece and circuit breaker in Spring Boot, how they are practically implemented.
Round 4
Hiring Manager Round
Started with the discussion on difference between Spring and Springboot.
Advantages of Springboot over Spring.
Asked about my projects.
What is servlet.
Difference between Autowiring and normal Object creation using new keyword.
Is Autowiring prototype or singleton.
Which design pattern does Spring Boot follows.
Which design patterns you know?
Asked me to explain Singleton Design Pattern and its implementation.
Follow up question on Lazy Loading, Thread safety and syncronization.
Asked me to write the whole code on paper.
How will you design Myntra App, which deisgn pattern to follow, and which Microservices will you make for the same.
DSA question on cycle detetion in a directed graph.
Finally Ended.
All the rounds were F2F.
Round 5
HR Round
Got a call from HR after 3 days that you are selected for HR Round.
It was an online round which lasted about 10 mins
Started with general introduction.
Why are you leaving current organization so early and why do you want to join Myntra?
Salary Exceptations and current ctc.
I asked a feedback questions.
Got an email saying you are selected and now compensation will be discussed on call.
Verdict -> Selected
