While this was a long back (september 2024) I got to know about this dicussion feature on leetocde a few days back only. So I'm posting now as this may help someone.

Cognizant hiring Process involved 4 Major Rounds where all were elimination rounds

Initially they asked all of us to create accounts on Superset and apply for the job on superset itself where they were three bands 1) Java+Front End, 2) Python+AWS, SQL, 3) C# +.Net.

After few weeks of registration they came for pre placement talk and explained the company culture, their policies their partners, and Hiring process etc,.

Round 1: After some few days I guess they scheduled Onile Communication Assessment - (Elimination)

Round 2: Aptitude Assesment ; asked to install SAB tool for giving this test. (Elimination)

Round 3: Techincal Assessment ; based on the band you registered Technical Assement will vary, for me since I selecetd python+band , here I got 2 coding questions and 20 multiple choice questions related to AWS and SQL , asked to install MSB tool for giving this. (Elimination)

Round 4: Techincal and HR Interview round (Elimiation)

This was scheduled in campus itself , Cognizant team came to our college to conduct this, both Technical and HR questions were asked in this round itself.

Technical :

  • Self Introduction
  • Detailed Explanation about your projects
  • Internship projects
  • Python program to replace vowels in a string with asterik with respect to the increasing vowel count
  • Python program to find the occurrence of each last word from a given list of sentences
  • Inner join and left join differences
  • Three tables are given and asked to write a query to fetch records according to the blood group and id range by joining all the three tables

HR:

  • About My Hobbies
  • What was the last Book I Read (as I mentioned Reading Books in my Hobbies)
  • What games you play (as I mentioned Outdoor games in Hobbies)
  • About My Native Place
  • What I like in My Native Place
  • What I'm Missing as I was doing my college far away from my Native Place
  • Willingness to work in any location
  • Shift restrictions
  • Any questions for them.

Verdict: Selected
