Hey,all. I had a screening interview today.
Following were the questions-

2. Calculate the distance to the nearest zero in a matrix, where each row is represented as a list, and zeros (0) are scattered at random positions. I couldn't find any such question on LC.
   I answered the 1st one fully, and and correctly. Couldn't solve 2nd one at all. It is not something I didnt know. I just couldnt focus on the interview because I just lost my dad 2 days before the interview. I couldn't postpone it as I really needed this job.
   Nevertheless, for the second question I was on right track.30% was on right track,and 45 mins got over.
   I know it would be stupid of me to ask, but is there any chance that I will pass the screening? If not, and if I explain my situation to the recruiter, will I get a second chance?
