Round 1 - Machine coding
I was asked to implement a Tab component from material UI in React JS

I completed this in about 30 min. The interviewer then asked to make this a component which can be converted into a package having all its state handled with component itself ( Context API). Got a little stuck here but interviewer was helpfull.
Cleared this round.
Round 2 - JS and Web fundamentals
This was a discussion kind of round.
Questions-
- REST API and its methods especially on OPTIONS
- CORS error, Same origin policy
- How is functional react handling lifecycle hooks now
- Difference between useState and useRef
- How to know if there is a error in React application( Error boundary)
- Cookies vs session storage
All these were just as questions and didnt have to code anything.I was able to answer many questions but the interviewer didnt seem satisfied.
Verdict- Rejected
