Summarising 2024 - \nCollege - Tier 3 \nCurrent exp - 1.6 Yrs\nCurrent Org - MNC \n\nFrom tier 3 background, I was the only one in my university to start competitive programming or DSA. There was no background before. With dreams and guidance from the 2nd year only I dreamed to go one of those MFAAANG companies. \nNone visited my college. Got job through offcampus to a decent paying MNC. Never gave up on my dream. Every day worked on my skills ( DSA, System Design etc. ). 2024 has been great to me, I\'ve got multiple opportunities to interview, unfortunately some were not not able to match expected offer, some didn\'t revert back. But it is one of those small steps towards my dream job. I want to share with you all my journey that has not ended yet and with a message that I feel suits everyone just like me. \n\n* PhonePe  - Cold emailed a recruiter \n\t\t\t\t    - They reverted back with 1 opening not Software engineering, but in support \n\t\t\t\t\t- I was able to clear the coding round \n\t\t\t\t\t- They weren\'t able to match the salary as role was not of SDE. \n\n* ObserveAI - Filled a google form on linkedin \n\t\t\t\t\t- Got a Coding Round link , attempted but never heard back \n\t\t\t\t\t\n* Browserstack - Applied through linkedin \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t- Cleared Coding Round \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t- Then there was 1.5 hour Machine Coding ( LLD) round , cleared . \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t- Read reviews about culture at browserstack, one of the worst management and        culures, also they were giving me a very less hike. Was very less interested . \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t- Director round happened, Got to know why it had so much of bad reviews. He came and bluntly started asking random questions about OOP, OS, CN from the internet. I gave most of the answers in my words, but he wanted exact definitions. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t- Rejected ( I\'m very happy with it ) \n\t\t\t\t\t\n* Shoffr - Reached out to one of the founders \n\t\t\t\t- Coding round , Cleared \n\t\t\t\t- Machine Coding ( 1.5 hrs ) , Cleared \n\t\t\t\t- Got Offer, But they were not able to match my current salary too. \n\n* Sumo Logic - Devops Role, I just modified my resume according to devops just to get a chance. I knew it won\'t work out even If I get an offer. \n                      - Coding Round , cleared \n                      - A lot of indepth questions about Kubernetes etc . Hence was not able to clear it out. \n                      - Rejected ( Good Experience overall ) \n                     \n* Inflection. io - Coding Round , Cleared \n\t\t\t\t\t\t- Didn\'t heard back \n\n* Paytm - Coding Round \n\t\t\t\t- No Response \n\n* Convin AI - Interview \n\t\t\t\t\t- Rejected ( Idk the reason, interview went well ) \n\n* Meesho - Coding Round \n\t\t\t\t- Too hard questions , not leetcode one\'s but codeforces one\'s. Not able to solve 1 / 2. Also 1 that I solved with some hardcoding. \n\t\t\t\t- Rejected \n\t\t\n\nI won\'t count them as my 2024 failures, but I would rather count them as my 2024 experiences. This is just to show you guyz that keep working , keep putting in efforts. \nI hope 2025 will be the year where I\'ll post an interview experience with an offer from one of the top MNC\'s.
