I recently interviewed for the P40 role at Atlassian, and I wanted to share my experience. The feedback from all my rounds was positive, except for the managerial round, where I received a "Weak Hire/No Hire" evaluation.

I was really surprised by this outcome because I felt that the managerial round went pretty well. I was confident in my responses and in demonstrating my leadership and communication skills. Given that the rest of my feedback was positive, I'm left wondering about the impact of the managerial round and how much weight it carries in the final decision.

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? What do you think the chances are when you get positive feedback in technical rounds but mixed feedback in the managerial round?
