I recently interviewed with Walmart Global Tech (Benglore) for Software Engineer - III (React) position.
- Got call from walmart recruiter through Linkedin.
- Discussed total years of experience with current company and tech stack.
- Round - 1
- Scheduled with in 7 days after the recruiter call.
- It was mix of React.js, JS concepts and (Leetcode) Easy Level DSA Round
- Interviewer was more interested in writing unit test case for custom hook and React component.
- JS high order function
- Interviewer was helpful and was giving enough time to complete the question.
- Total duration was 1.5 hrs
- Result: Passed
- Round - 2
- Scheduled after 7 days from the Round -1 interview.
- As per my expections it should be a React.js HLD design and JS round as per other candidates interviews.
- But this was again mix of DSA, React.js design and functionality building, Advance JS concepts and more of building pollyfills for react js hooks.
- Interviewer didn't seems to be helpful and was not giving enough time atleast to complete the problem.
- DSA was kind of easy medium level.
- It was out of expection round.
- Total duration was 1 hrs.
- Result: Rejected
