Online Assessment:
The process started with an offline assessment in our campus computer lab, monitored by invigilators. The assessment had timed sections and included a mix of a medium-level graph coding question (similar to LeetCode) and questions on aptitude and core subjects like .NET. I completed all sections and solved the coding question successfully. Within an hour, I was informed that I had passed and was selected for the interview rounds.

Technical Interview 1:
The first technical round was focused on OOP concepts and included a pattern-printing question. The questions were straightforward, and I felt comfortable answering them. I’d rate this round as relatively easy.

Technical Interview 2:
In the second technical round, the interviewer discussed my projects, especially the backend aspects of one project in detail. I was asked to design backend functions for specific scenarios, which aligned with the work I’d done, and I was able to respond effectively. This round was medium in difficulty, and the discussion was in person.

HR Round:
The HR round was brief, around 10 minutes. The HR asked about my background, family, and aspirations. They shared details on the internship location, stipend, and opportunities at GEP and confirmed if I was comfortable relocating to Mumbai and had my parents’ approval.

Result:
After the interviews, I anxiously awaited the result. Finally, I received the official offer notification, confirming my position as a SWE Intern at GEP for Summer 2025.
The complete hiring process happened in one day itself which was something I liked about the company.
