I first participated in Uber's online screening coding round on HackerRank in May. In June, the Talent Acquisition team scheduled a DS and Algo interview round, and after completing it, they requested my availability for the next round. I promptly provided 4-5 available slots within 4 hours of their request. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive a reply and was ghosted despite following up via email multiple times over the course of a month.

Recently, Uber reached out to me again regarding an opening, and after another screening round, for which I received successful results, they requested my availability for the DS and Algo interview round between the 9th and 13th of September. I promptly responded with my available slots. However, despite multiple follow-up emails, I haven’t received any further communication from their side.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Is Uber actively hiring, or is this process simply being highlighted for visibility on platforms like LinkedIn? It’s disheartening to be left in the dark after investing so much time and effort.

Any advice on how to handle this or insights into whether there are real openings at Uber would be greatly appreciated.
