Recently gave interview for Linkedin. It had 1 OA + 6 rounds.

OA
* 1 Medium + 1 Hard Leetcode Question.
* 2 SQL medium question. ( Use of rank and row_number questions type)

Round 1 : Phone Screening
* This was screening round and elimination round.
* 1 Coding : Find kth largest in tree.
* 1 SQL : Medium + Followup on SQL.

After this round got call from HR that I cleared screening round and after 1 week next rounds were schedule.

Round 2 : SQL Round
* This round involved multiple SQL questions—four in total (including followup)
* One question was asked to code in Python/R. I used Pyspark
* All questions had level of medium.

Round 3 : DSA Round
* This was enhance version of merged interval question. We had good discussion on multiple approach to solve this question.
* Next question was Valid Triangle : https://leetcode.com/problems/valid-triangle-number/ was able to solve this as well.

Round 4 : Managerial Round
* We discussed my projects, experience, and challenges faced during those projects.
* I was also asked several scenario-based questions.

Round 5 : Statistics Round
* In this round scenario based question was given, like if you are asked about one number to give salary of people in Bangalore what will you use to give that salary. For example, you can use mean to give average salary or median. But median will be more accurate as it doesn't change w.r.t. outliers.
* I perform very bad in this round was hardly able to solve any question but it was fine as HR said this round has least weightage.

Round 6 : Design Round
* In this round I was asked to design distributed task scheduler with some condition and constraints.
* We had good discussion on multiple approach, on optimization.
* I think this round was also good.

It's been more than 1 week and still haven't heard back from HR, not sure how many days normally they take.

It's for Senior Data Engineer position not sure if it's equivalent to SDE 2 with other companies or SDE3. Maybe can clarify on this.

Also, anyone aware about salary range of Data Engineer and what is promotion cycle look at Linkedin ?
