Contacted by a recruiter, got the Online assessment link.

OA (2.5 Hours) : 3 questions on Hackerrank. All the questions were around banking domain.
1 was a variation of this https://leetcode.com/problems/cheapest-flights-within-k-stops/description/
other 2 were easy-medium questions.

Solved all the 3 questions with 100% test cases in around 1.5-2 hours.

Onsite in person Round (1.5 hours) :
Discussion around the OA test. How could i have improved upon the time complexity, choice of a better data structure? What was the approach used for solving the problem?

High Level design for a Payment Service Provider.
A very detailed discussion. Every word put on the board was being discussed thoroughly. Every request/response was traced from client to how it will interact with every component.
Overall a good and detailed interview which made me think a lot on the fly as didnt have much idea around payments domain before it.
Also questions around "Why Adyen?".

Interviwers were impressed by the design byt they needed someone with more in depth experience in payments domain i believe.

Verdict: Reject
