Tower Research | | SDE Intern | | OA + Interview

I recently gave Tower OA and was called for interviews for the position of SDE intern. Here is my experience.

• OA Round (2 hours)

  • OA round had 3 sections:
    • Coding Problems
    • Debugging problem
    • MCQs
  • 3 coding probelms were given in the first section. They were around LC hard level.
  • For the debugging probelm, only c++ could be used. They gave a program that should perform a perticular task but with a lot of bugs, and our task was to eliminate all of them
  • MCQs were a mix of finding Time Complexity, Operating systems and Networking

• Interview Rounds
  There were 3 technical interviews.

  • Round 1: These were offline interviews so the interviewer first asked us to introduce ourselves and then he taked a bit about my research. Later he gave a coding question that was around LC medium and then continued on to OSN concepts followed by some questions on the language of our choice (C++ in my case). The questions were about how various data-structures were inplemented in STL, what were the underlying comcepts etc.

  • Round 2: The 2nd round was a design based and resume round. The interviewer asked me about the various internships that I had worked in, what work I had done and asked me question related to those and asked me to design one of the softwares that I used in one of the projects.

  • Round 3: It was a technical + HR round in which they taked about resumes' again.

  • The interviews went for about 1.5 hours for one round.
