I gave Uber interviews in May 2024 for a SDE 2 position. Interviews were of medium difficulty level. Below is my experience.
Experience - 3 years
Current Job - Google
Round 1: Screening
There were 3 questions of medium difficulty and a time limit of 90 minutes. I solved all three of them.
Round 2: DSA (1 hour)
In this round there was 1 hard difficulty question based on stack.
Round 3: DSA (1 hour)
This round involved questions on graph traversal and has 2 sub parts to solve.
Round 4: LLD Round (1 hour)
I was asked to come up with LLD of a restaurant service using OOPs, SOLID priciples, etc.
Round 5: HLD (1 hour)
I was asked to come up with HLD of a chat application.
Round 6: Hiring Manager Round
It was a behavioral round and there were questions like why I am leaving my current company and why I would like to join Uber and some discussion on my expectations. There were questions about the previous project, my contributions to design and development, how I handled conflicts and collaborated with other teams etc..
Result - I got the offer to join Uber
