Adding my interview experiences at various companies. As the title suggests, I did NOT clear any of these interviews.

A little bit about me - I work as a Backend Engineer. I have 7 yoe. LC count is a little complicated to explain. Currently it's 91 (44E/46M/1H), but I did ~150 LC in 2020. There are obviously overlaps in this. I mostly did questions in Blind 75.

First round - OA - 1.5 hr:
There were 2 questions. Solved 1 completely, for the other only a few test cases were passing.

WiseTech
Recruiter had reached out to a few years ago, contacted them back.

First round : OA
They had 2 separate assessments.

  1. Coding Assessment. There were 3 questions, solved 2 fully (LC easy to medium) and 1(LC medium) partially.
  2. Cognitive Reasoning and Behavioural Assessment.

Cisco
Applied on the careers page. Got a call from recruiter.

First round : 1hr

Second round : 1hr

  • Resume deep-dive
  • Discussion about architecture at current company and why certain design choices were made.

Loop AI
Recruiter reached out. One LC medium. I wrote a working solution, he wanted an even more optimised solution. Couldn't do that.

Moveworks
Reached out to a recruiter at Moveworks and they asked me to apply directly.

First round : LC round - 1 hr
Random LC Hard. I was able to come up with a partial solution.

Second round: LC round - 1 hr
Modified LC medium. I was able to come up with a partial solution.

They schedule 2 LC rounds, so even if you do poorly in the first round, you have to attend the 2nd round.

Kotak
Saw a post on LinkedIN and shared resume. They scheduled a 2 hour LLD round. Wasn't able to come up with a fully working solution.

Motive
Applied through LinkedIN.

First round : HM round - 1 hr.

  • Questions from resume.
  • Talking about recent project I did, its impact and why certain design choices were made.
  • 1 simple LLD.

Second round: LC round - 1 hr
LC medium on Binary search. Couldn't solve properly.

Third round: LC round - 1 hr
1 LC easy and 1 LC Medium. Solved both.

Apna
Applied on LinkedIn.

First round - LLD - 1 hr
Design the order management and supply chain system.

I thought I did decently well, not sure why I was rejected.

Twilio
Applied on careers page.

First round : OA - 1.5 hours

  • Spark specific stuff - Was unable to do this properly. I felt like some issue was there with the hackerrank platform.
  • LC Easy. All test cases passed.
  • Rest API. All test cases passed.

Wayfair
Got a referral.

First round : OA - 1.5 hours
2 questions. Solved 1.

Aspire
Applied through LinkedIN.

First round - OA - 1 hour
Weird college placements-esque MCQ.

Arista
Applied through LinkedIN.

First round - 1 hr

  • Python specific questions
