**MY BACKGROUND:**\nEducation: Mechanical Engineering from a Tier 3/4 college\nYear of passing: 2021\nCurrent company: A large service-based MNC\nDesignation: Software Engineer (mostly worked on low-code platform)\nYOE: 2.3 years\n\n**APPLICATION PROCESS:**\nApplied through Linkedin easy apply and after a week got the interview invite.\nAlso the recruiter told it will be a ***In-Person interview*** at one of their Bengaluru Campus on Saturday.\n\n`For me it was the first time ever to attend an in-person interview, so I attended just to get some idea, like how the F2F interviews happen.`\n\n**Round 1:** This was purely a technical round and there were 2 pannel members.\n- Was asked to explain about my current project on a white board\n- Pointers in C/C++\n- Call by value and reference\n- Dangling pointers\n- DML and DDL\n- SQL joins\n- Write some basic SQL queries\n- Swap 2 numbers without using extra space\n- Remove all the duplicates in a string without using extra space\n\n**Round 2:** This was a managerial round.\n- Asked about my current project\n- Any challenges I faced\n- Interest to work on a C/C++ product\n- Why my 12th percentage dropped w.r.t to my 10th percentage\n- Why do you want to switch\n\n**Round 3:** This was just a discussion with the Senior Director and sort of not an interview.\n- Here he explained me about the product and the team which I will be a part of, in detail.\n- He also explained me the difference b/w a product-based company and a service based company\n- He also asked me about my current CTC and said I would get much more than this.\n\n**VERDICT:** `Verbal Offer, yet to discuss compensation.`\n\n**Compensation:** https://leetcode.com/discuss/compensation/5739340/Oracle-or-Applications-Engineer-or-Bengaluru-or-Service-to-Product
