My Placement Journey at Velammal Engineering College (Sify Technologies)

The entire placement season at Velammal Engineering College was a roller coaster. Despite cracking interviews at Indian Fortune companies, securing full-time offers proved challenging.

Then came Sify Technologies, with a rigorous three-round selection process:

Round 1: General Aptitude and Technical MCQ

This round was straightforward with a solid grasp of the basics. I was thrilled to secure a spot in the next round.

Round 2: Technical HR

Here, I performed well, and the feedback from the HR team was encouraging. My preparation paid off, boosting my confidence.

Round 3: General HR

This round focused on behavior and communication skills, where it was essential to present myself well and showcase my personality.

Finally, the results were announced: "ThineshBabu KS from CSE, selected." This journey taught me resilience and the importance of perseverance. I am excited to start my career at Sify Technologies!

After receiving the offer, virtual training began for all students. Initially, training was common, but based on our performance, we were divided into different streams after three months.

At the end of the training, we were tasked with building a full-stack e-commerce website with complete functionalities. Before that, we had some internal tests to clear, and our performance was closely monitored.

In the second phase of training, I was placed in Batch 1, where I received specialized training based on business requirements. After two months, my waiting was finally over.

My Dream is Coming True

A new chapter in my life with my first job. New tasks await, and I have a long way to go!
