I recently got an call from an HR Stating that I have been shortlisted for Interview at zoho and he scheduled me an interview on 31'st of May.

He hasn't specified about the interview round I just went there completely blank. I worked as an SDE Backend Intern previously and recently completed my internship so I haven't practiced any leetcode over the period of 1 years and my tech stack during internship was an Unorthodox language.

So I just went there In order to gain some interview experience.

Thankfully I did not had the usual aptitude round I directly appeared for round 2 which was coding round.
It consist of 5 leetcode problems difficulty were from Medium-Hard but the check is there were some conditions like you should not use inbuilt methods and in some cases there was condition like you should not use an if statement. I managed to clear that coding round and I was moved to next round.

Second round was attended by around 45 students and only 12 made into next round

Next round was long coding round where I was asked to code an console based application with many functionalities. I usually do problem solving in cpp and I haven’t done any development in cpp but the round is totally based on how you approach and how you organize files and the scalability kind of things. It has been 2 years since I used java. But Java was my first programming language. I asked whether I can code in ruby since I worked in ruby during my prev internship they said a big no. you should not use any other languages other than c,c++ and java.

Anyhow I managed to code all the cases with some small bugs in the application since it has been 2 years with java I am very much slow while debugging. They haven’t announced the result yet and they informed incase if we get selected we need to appear for another technical interview at zoho.

PS: I am not sure whether I will make it for next round or not but after 1.3 years of break in problem solving and 2 years of break in java. I made it into the top 10. I feel Proud for that let us wait and see whether I will get into another round or not anyways I am so happy with my performance and started leet after an year hopefully will get better soon and will be back on track.

Edit : Got Selected for Incubation process which is basically an Assessment period where we have to work on several tasks and based on performace during Incubation Period Full Time Employement will be provided
