I applied for the Java Role at DTCC approximately a month ago through their career portal.

After a waiting period, I was notified that I had been shortlisted for the first round - a digital interview conducted through hirevue platform. This round had five questions focusing on my experience and why I believe I am a good fit for the role.

About two weeks later, I received an invitation for the second round, which was a technical interview with the hiring manager, It was a video interview with a panel of three.

The panel began by providing an overview of the project, emphasizing the use of JSP (Java Server Pages) within the project's technology stack.

They asked several questions about my past experience, my interest in the project, and some technical inquiries related to database concepts such as primary keys, unique keys, and indexing, hierarchy keys, SonarQube, and other related technologies, and some questiions about code review processes.

Towards the end of the interview, there was a sense of urgency as the panel expressed the need to expedite the process due to the high volume of candidates awaiting interviews. This created a "slightly unusual atmosphere" as we wrapped up our discussion.
