I recently had an interview with Capgemini for a Java Full Stack support role on the Disney project. The interview took approximately 30 minutes. I had a conversation with the delivery manager.
Location: Orlando, FL (hybrid 3 days per week)
Project Background:
Over forty microservices are being supported by a third-party application as part of the Disney project. Disney owns the application, and Capgemini provides support services. Support tasks take up around 80% of the work, with small upgrades taking up the other 20%. The project makes extensive use of Splunk and AWS technologies for active alerting and monitoring.
During the interview, we spoke about:
advantages of microservices, AWS auto scaling, scaling on a cluster level and scaling on a service level in a microservices architecture.
