Epsilon visited our campus to hire candidates for the post of Software Development and Engineer - 1 .

Rounds for Recruitment Process:

• Resume Shortlisting
• Online Test (Aptitude + Python + SQL + AWS + React)
• Technical Interview

1. Resume Shortlisting:
Around 3000 Students applied, out of which only 50 of us were Shortlisted for the Online Test.

2. Online Test:
The Online test was divided into 2 sections:

• Cognitive Section (Quantitative + Logical Reasoning)
• Technical Section (Python + MySQL + AWS + React basics)

The test difficulty was ranging from Medium to Hard, and it was for 1.5 Hrs.

3. Technical Interview:
Only 10 of us cleared the online test and proceeded to the final interview. The Interview happened on Zoom. The Interviewer was friendly. Asked about myself and my hobbies and how my interest elevated towards Coding and Problem Solving.

Then comes the DSA part, where he asked 3 DSA Questions (Easy, Medium, Hard):

• Max Consecutive ones | Easy | DP Memoization (Bottom-Up) Approach
• Kth Largest Element in array | Medium | Priority Queue (with explanation)
• Count Submatrices with Sum equal to Target | Hard | Prefix sum concept (with explanation)

After Solving and explaining the above DSA Problems, a question was asked on Multiple Inheritance.

At last, an Application based question was asked, based on my Resume, for which only I did not give proper answer.

The Interview went on for an Hour.

Result: Not Selected
Lesson: Be confident with the approach / solution you are explaining, cause even if it's the wrong solution, the interviewer will see how confident you are with your solution.
