Company: OpenText\nPosition: Software Engineer\nLocation: Bangalore\n\n**Round 1: Java, Coding (1hr-Virtually)**\nInterviewer asked me about SOLID principles, Singleton Design Pattern, Java 8 features, Basic Coding, Conceptual questions on working of Java, Memory Management.\n\n*Result: Positive*\n\n**Round 2: DSA and Java Advanced Concepts (1hr - F2F)**\n1 medium leetcode coding question on string, 1 simple puzzle question, basics about low level design patterns which I know of and Java collections workings (ArrayList, HashMap, BlockingQueue). Basics of Multithreading.\n\n*Result: Positive*\n\n**Round 3: Hiring Manager (1hr 30mins - F2F)**\nJust 30mins after the previous round, this round had begun and was the toughest round. To clear this round, the basics had to be very very clear. There was no such syllabus and I even got a wavering question from microprocessor. The HM was very very knowledgable and asked me a lot questions on coding cases which we encounter in daily coding but we do not seek to know the reasons behind. Also got a few questions on low level design patterns. I was ground so much that I got mentally exhausted after the interview. The round ended with a few behaviourial questions like work style. It is also very important to know your project very well.\n\n*Result: Positive*\n\n**Round 4: Director Round (30mins-Virtually)**\nAsked about me, working of my project and HTTP status codes. Prepared around my project (which was there on resume) very very well which helped.\n\n*Result: Positive*\n\nFinal Verdict: Received verbal communication that I cleared after 5 days.
