Hey everyone, I’m a 2023 graduate from a tier-3 college. I recently went through Flipkart’s off-campus interview process in November 2023 for the SDE position, applying through a referral. Here’s a breakdown of the process:

Interview Rounds (4 rounds):

1. Online Assessment (OA):
Duration: 90 minutes
Content: Three DSA questions, varying from medium to hard level (similar to LeetCode).
Outcome: Cleared the round and received the results on the same day.

2. Technical Interviews (2 Rounds):
Format: Each round lasted around 60 minutes.
Approach: Started with introductions followed by Data Structure and Algorithm (DSA) questions.
Advice: Always structure your solutions, starting with brute force, discussing approaches, coding (if permitted), analyzing time and space complexities, and highlighting edge cases.
Feedback: Received results the same day for each round.
Note: I could not find those questions on the web, otherwise could have provided the link. But, in the first round, there was a question on trees(medium level) and one on Array and Hashmaps. In the second round, one question on dp on trees (hard level) and another on array and combinatorics.

3. Hiring Manager Round:
Content: Focused on my resume, probing deeply into my experiences, roles, and projects, particularly emphasizing my current role and internship projects.
Outcome: Received confirmation on the same day.

Experience Summary:

Second and third Rounds: Covered DSA questions of varying difficulty levels, with increasing complexity in subsequent rounds.
Interviewer Support:* Encountered supportive and encouraging interviewers throughout the process.
Post-Interview Communications: Received prompt updates on clearing each round.
Reflection:
Challenges: Faced some nerves and confidence dips, especially in the second techinical interview round.
Positive Outcome: Eventually offered the SDE position at Flipkart.
The experience was rigorous yet insightful, providing a platform to showcase technical skills and articulate my experiences effectively.
