Below is my interview experience of Flipkart for Software Development Engineer 1. Hope you all like it
Round 1 (PS/DS1):- The interviewer introduced himself and asked me to introduce myself. Then he asked me 2 questions. This interview lasted for an hour.
1. Trapping rain water
2. Partition Equal Subset Sum
Round 2 (PS/DS2):- After 2 days, the round 2 took place. There were 2 interviewers. They first introduced themselves and asked me to introduce myself.
1. Group Anagrams Together
2. Capacity To Ship Packages Within D Days
In both the questions, interviewer asked me about various approaches that could be used, how we can minimize the time and space complexity. He even varied the questions a bit.
This round was supposed to be of an hour but got stretched for 45 minutes more.
Round 3 (Hiring Manager):- This round took place the next day. It was supposed to be of 30 minutes but lasted for 1 hour. He introduced himself and asked me to introduce myself.
- He asked me about my projects, what tech stacks I used, what structure I followed to make my projects.
- For team based projects, he asked me the general team based questions.
- Why I want to join Flipkart.
- Why I want to leave my previous company.
Verdict – Selected
Tips:-
- Just consider the interview as a discussion.
- This makes you feel a bit at ease and opens your mind to think for more approaches as you don't feel pressured.
