Previsous Exeperience : 0.6 years [Mostly on Spring Boot. do not have experience on multithreaded system]
Round 1
This round was organised on hackerearth. where 3 graph based questions where asked. In 3 question 2 were medium and 1 medium-hard question.
Round 2
This round was aslo on hackerearth where famous question tree of space is asked. which first I tried to solve in cpp. but keep getting segfault[this was because input format or something], so switch to python and solve it completly in one go.
Round 3
This round happened in on slack and you can ask for meet on google meet if need any clarity. This round was to make thread save of round 2 code.
My first Idea was to lock root and perform operation. but it was expensive for mutlithreaded system. so he said you have to make lock as grannular as possible.
In the end I was able to come up with only four instruction in critical section. but interviewer said it can be also reduce. so this was depth of thinking and couldn't get more.
Verdict
Since it's been near a month. and not got any mail so assuming ghosted/rejected.
My Take
One thing about this hackathon is that this kind of hiring process is awesome. and this is very correct way of hiring. although 1st and 2nd round qeustion should be different or should be atleast 4-5 sets. but still it is okay.
Previously I have cleared Amazon OA and 1st round of interview and then hiring freezed ☹️.
