Hello, everyone!
I'm going to share my experience with Bloomberg so far and will update the post as soon as I learn more about the results. In January 2023, a Bloomberg recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn about a senior software position. I gladly accepted and scheduled my interview for February because I wanted time to prepare.
I had trouble coming up with a study plan the first few days, but after looking through various online resources, I focused on the bloomberg tag questions.
Before beginning the actual coding, I was asked to introduce myself on the day of the actual virtual interview and to talk about my previous experience and challenges. The entire virtual round lasted for one hour.
Question asked: number of ships in a region:
I was able to answer the question using brute force within the allotted time, but it wasn't the best solution. I have not received the outcome of that round yet. Hoping for the best, but the interview was positive overall.
I'll update this post when I hear back from them.
Update: Recieved a rejection from Bloomberg. I'm guessing its mostly because I didnt provide the optimzed solution to them
