Accenture interview experience at VIT Vellore

Role offered: Advanced Application Engineering Analyst

College: VIT Vellore

JD and ppt said we will be working in one of the new tech divisions like Full stack,AI,Big data etc

CTC offered 12.6LPA

Eligibility: All Btechs with CGPA>6

Whether separate resume/CGPA shortlist was done after applying? No. Everyone was allowed to give the test

Test process

Round 1: Aptitude- 90 mins 75 questions. Pretty basic Quant stuff and a few MS Excel based questions.

Round 2: Coding- 2 questions in 45 mins. Again not that difficult. Mostly array manipulation or basic Linked List questions.

Round 3: Interview- 25 min interview. Based on resume. Deep discussion on projects mentioned. I am from non cs branch, had one software project based on Python was asked questions on that and had a core project based on mathematical optimization was also asked about that. Also asked why I wanna move from core to non core I said more growth opportunities. Also asked me about my co curricular activities.

Pro Tip: If you are interviewing for consulting based firms like Big 4,Accenture,ZS,Bain,Mckinsey etc- Communication skills/extra curricular activities are given due importance since you will be working with clients(probably international ones).
Also dress well during the interview. It creates a positive impression. These companies basically look for folks who are well groomed and smart. They dont necessarily want champion programmers tbh.
All these firms have a very good training programme once you join.
