Round 2: Machine Coding
- Deep dive into current project for half hour, they got upset when I said I couldn't reveal the core business logic as I'm bounded by NDA.
- Rate limiter design but had only 10 mins left for coding after discussing approach(sliding window). Couldn't finish it obviously.
- There were 2 interviewers who argued among themselves and i was just staring at the screen most of the times. The entire process was very confusing.
I declined HLD interview because the LLD round left a bad taste. Also, from both interviews, I got the idea that the organisation is fixed on using Nodejs for everything and if you want to use some other tech stack then you need to "fight for it". I didn't want to work on javascript so didn't proceed further. Recruiter was very helpful. First interviewer was a very good interviewer.
