I got a call from HR in Singapore. She scheduled my offline Interview at the UBS office in Airoli. Since this is my first onsite interview, I need to be presentable in format attire. I had to reach there at 11 AM. But I need to leave at 1 PM since I scheduled my FORD interview on the same day.
Round 1
Before the interview, it is always recommended to go through previous Interview Experience.
So I went through a lot of Interviews experiences. On the day of the Interview, after reaching the UBS office one of the directors of UBS took my Interview. It was mostly project-based Interviews.
She started with "Tell me about yourself". After giving a lot of interviews, I was already prepared for this with a constructive answer.
Then I explain to her about my video analytics project. Since she is from a Mechanical Engineering background. She totally understood my solution and approach.
After a lot of Technical questions, she asked me some behavioral questions too.
She was pretty impressed with me. So she told me to wait outside, after the Interview.
One of the receptionists told me that I can leave, I will get the next communication over email or phone.
I leave and took a rickshaw for home. While in the rickshaw I got a call from her that please come back we will be having 2nd round today only.
I come back to the office for 2nd round.
Round 2
When I reached to office, She gave me her laptop and connected me with the Interviewer.
It was Medium level Interview. It started with Python.
He gave me some easy-medium python code snippets and asked me the outputs. Then he asked me about Object oriented in Python.
After this, he asked me about Flask.
Q1>How to make changes without restarting the server?
Q2>He also told me to create a basic API in the flask and explain it to him.
Q3>Then he shifted his questions to Spark basics. What is parquet in spark? What is HDD in spark?
Q4>What is the difference between Dataframe and RDD?
He also has some SQL questions but he told me that since Interview time is finished, I will not ask any more questions. Then he told me to ask him some questions. I asked him about work culture and the tools and technologies I will be working with.
Then she told me If I can wait will share the results. I have to leave as early as possible for Ford Interview. So I said no and she told me that I will get a call if selected.
I answered 70% of the question and said politely no if I don’t know the answers.
Round 3
After 1 Week I got a call from HR that she wanted to schedule my HR round. It was a kind of Warning round.
The Interviewer asked me some typical HR questions.
Then he warned me if I took this offer and leave then the company will block me.
We negotiated on salary and Interview ends.
