I had applied for the NodeJ- MongoDB role , there were 3 companies that werer hiring:

• Bajaj Finance
• Bajaj Finserv Health
• FINSERV Markets

Round 1 (online – 1 hrs) : It was the online round and we were asked to initiate a successful request to the mentioned API endpoint to send your basic details like Name, College
email ID, College Registration No., DOB. (Anyone with basic experience working with Postman could clear it)

Round 2 (online – 1hrs) : This round was conducted on the hacker rank platform. It consisted of 15 node.js and mongo DB questions. 3 aptitude-based questions and there was 1 programming question. (Programming question was medium-hard and we were allowed to use only Node.js for it).

Round 3 (Technical Interview) : This round I was asked about :

• Started the interview by introducing myself and explaining about my developer journey
• Javascript basics like the differences between promises and async await
• Told to explain my favourite data structure : I answered with HashMap and explained about the same
• Some questions were based on MongoDB basics like index , unique indexing etc.
• the difference between a for loop and forEach()
• A few Questions based on my resume

Round 4 (Technical Interview II ) : This round was with the CTO of Bajaj Finserv Health,
I was asked about system design and given scenario based questions which were related to the microservices and the new features they were building. Personally I felt this round was very tough for a fresher and was more suited for a senior engineer (SDE 2/3). I wasn't able to answer the questions upto the mark.

Result : I did not get selected for this role.

98 students were selected from my college across various job profiles and the interviews happened physically for the whole day.
