I am a pre final year student . Recently goldman sachs visited my campus and was open for all branches, without any cgpa criteria.
They were hiring interns as Summer Analysts for the summers of 2023.
First round was a coding round of 1 hour 50 minutes with four sections.

  1. First section had 2 medium level coding questions.
  2. Second sections had MCQ's on maths and aptitude.
  3. Third section was of coding MCQ's.
  4. Fourth section had 2 essay type questions.

Around 40 students were shortlisted from the coding round.

Interview 1
Interviews were conducted on zoom and code pair link was shared. First the interviewer asked me to introduce myself. Then she asked Next smaller palindrome. Then she asked me difference between file system and dbms.

Interview 2
She asked brief description about my projects and the tech stacks i have used. Then gave me a question named Missing number. The second question was to find First missing positve(she asked me to this in linear time and constant space).

Interview 3
This was also a technical interview. He first asked me about my projects. Then asked me to list all the data structrures that i know. He then asked the ways to represent graph and the advantage to used adjacency list.
Then he asked a question on BST https://leetcode.com/problems/minimum-absolute-difference-in-bst/ .
Further he asked me to validate a sudoku (checking a particular index should be done in just one iteration not in three for loops).
Then he asked few questions on OOP and DBMS with some basic query's.
