Goldman | VP | Bengaluru May 2022 | Dropped out of Interview process

Goldman Sachs recruiter reached out to me for the VP vacancy.

Round 1 DSA coder pad (Cleared)

2 Questions asked one medium, one hard difficulty. Neither interviewer introduced himself nor asked about me, my work. Jumped straight to question.

Round 2 Problem Solving (Two people)
Finest interviewers, both were nice. Introduced themselves and asked about my work.
Two questions one hard one medium. Hard was able to solve but could not optimize.
Gave verbal solution for medium one as they were not looking for code but pseudocode.

Round 3 System design (Two people)

The interviewer introduced himself and asked about me. He started with cross questioning about my work. Explained him. The problem was he does not know anything about cloud and Saas platform and he kept asking different version of same question. I answered and tried explaning him lot of times about my role and how saas platform worked. He wasted 20 mins in this. Finally, my patience weared out and atlast i said i cannot explain more, i have already given you answer to this question. Had 30-40 mins left only.

They asked me to design an e-commerce platform. One interviewer said to design order and payment service, when i started clarifying functional requirements, other interviewer interrupted in between and asked to design for complete end to end ecommerce platform. (So so immature behaviour) May be they were from different realm all together.
I started with it. reached till cart service flow, (everybdy knows ecommerce platform does not end with cart service) and again got interrupted by second interviewer to 'Design end to end'. I answered this is what i was doing till you interrupted. I did not finish my design. I am still explaining. My patience had really reached heights by this time. He let me continue. Finished the design. Some cross questioning on scale, fault tolerance etc.

P.S. I knew how rudely Goldman interviewer behaves but what i don't understand is WHY MAN? what do you have in your blood that others don't? we all are from planet Earth right or you guys have already reached MARS? Goldman team teach your people first on 'how to interview'.
